Beyond the Operating Room
One among us is a surgeon with more than 25 years of experience in doing surgery — especially whatever it is that liver transplant surgeons do for a living.
Over the years, he learnt that medicine is not only about procedures, diagnoses and treatment plans. It is also about people, their stories, their fears, their courage and the lives that continue long after they leave the hospital.
